Benjamin co-incorporated the Collegiate Society Foundation in 2005. He currently serves on a voluntary basis as the Foundation's President of the Board of Directors in addition to his responsibilities overseeing the day-to-day operations of the CSF and the Collegiate Society of America as Executive Director.

In high school, Benjamin participated in the Junior State of America, starting his own chapter and serving as Lieutenant Governor of the Ohio River Valley Territory, overseeing its transition into statehood. Since high school, Benjamin has continued his relationship with the Junior Statesmen Foundation staffing conventions, symposia, and JSA summer school. Benjamin holds a BA and a MA in History from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Zack co-incorporated the Collegiate Society Foundation with Benjamin van der Horst in 2005. He currently serves on a voluntary basis as the Director of Programming and Development in addition to serving as Vice President of the Board of Directors. From November 2005 to November 2007, Zack served as Treasurer and Secretary of the Board.

He has experience as a student leader with the Junior State of America in high school serving as Director of Expansion for the Ohio River Valley as well as chapter president. He has staffed JSA conventions and summer school.  Zack oversees fundraising and programming for the CSAmerica program. He holds a BS in Public Affairs and is a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) candidate at Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs with concentrations in public management, policy analysis, and public financial administration.
