Benjamin co-incorporated the Collegiate Society Foundation in 2005. He currently serves as the Foundation's President of the Board of Directors.

In high school, Benjamin participated in the Junior State of America, starting his own chapter and serving as Lieutenant Governor of the Ohio River Valley Territory, overseeing its transition into statehood. Since high school, Benjamin has continued his relationship with the Junior Statesmen Foundation staffing conventions, symposia, and JSA summer school. Benjamin holds a BA and a MA in History from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and is pursuing an MBA at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.

Zack co-incorporated the Collegiate Society Foundation with Benjamin van der Horst in 2005. He currently serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors. From November 2005 to November 2007, Zack served as Treasurer and Secretary of the Board.

He has experience as a student leader with the Junior State of America in high school serving as Director of Expansion for the Ohio River Valley as well as chapter president. He has staffed JSA conventions and summer school.  Zack oversees fundraising and programming for the CSAmerica program. He holds a BS in Public Affairs and a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs with concentrations in public management, policy analysis, and public financial administration.
