KEYNOTE SPEAKER

David Mark

The Collegiate Society Foundation proudly announces David Mark, author and journalist, as the CSAmerica National Convention 2007 Keynote Speaker. Mr. Mark will address convention delegates on Saturday, February 10, 2007.

Mr. Mark is a seasoned political journalist and the former editor-in-chief of Campaigns & Elections magazine in Washington, D.C. Mr. Mark's work has appeared in The Washington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Arizona Republic, The Miami Herald and many other publications. He has been a political analyst on television, radio, and in print publications, in the United States and abroad. He has also lectured overseas about campaigns and elections to diplomatic, business, academic and journalism groups.

Mr. Mark's recent book, Going Dirty: The Art of Negative Campaigning, received acclaim in the 2006 Midterm Election season and was referenced in the October 5 issue of The Economist. He has appeared on many television programs as a political analyst. Recently, Mr. Mark has appeared on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and CNN's Paula Zahn Now.

Mr. Mark is a Political Editor for The Politico, a new Washington, D.C. newspaper reporting on Congress and politics.
Publication of The Politico is slated to begin on January 23, 2007.
